"The first night we stayed at the hotel was the night of a wedding. It was a Sunday night and we had just arrived from the east coast. We tried to get to sleep at a reassonable hour but the music went on until 1:15 in evening. We were on the 4th floor but but must have been over the reception area. It was so loud our room vibrated. We called the front desk several times but there was nothing they could do. We met several guests the next morning who also had the same problem.
Besides this issue, the hotel and staff were friendly and helpful. The experience however, will make us question whether we stay at this hotel chain again."

"My granddaughter lost her stuffed "Kitty Cat". It was taken out of the room when housekeeping did the bed laundry. It must have been caught up in the bedsheets. We have been informed that the hotel has found the critter. It was looking out at them from the clothes dryer, so the hotel will be sending it back to our granddaughter. There had been a few tears but now that has changed. The hotels action in having "Kitty Cat" returned is going the extra mile."

"My booking was a catastrophe.
Despite the fact I booked it with a credit card the same day, they had no record whatsoever. I suspect this was not the fault of the hotel. Save your confirmation number.
The hotel also did not know the rate I had been given over the phone. I had to check on it and make it clear what the rate was.
The hotel made it right, however.
I have stayed at this hotel and the other in Winnipeg. The hotel chain offers midrange quality at midrange prices.
My stay was short and sweet. I was in at 5 pm and out a little after 5 am.
No problems in the hotel itself.
Booking, that was a different matter."

"The biggest issue I had with my stay at the Greenwood Inn was the lack of customer service. I booked through the internet and got an decent deal...+/-$100.00 for one night. It said 'outside parking' which I assumed was their park and fly service (leave car at hotel while you are gone). Got to front desk at time of check in and all was going smooth when the 'trainee' noticed that we wanted to leave our vehicle there. The cost for this is +/- $145.00. That is what we were charged, eventhough the internet registration said outside parking. She checked with another employee who read my form from the computer and flat out refused to discuss the issue. We were charged the higher rate at the desk. Warning to other customers of the Greenwood Inn...double check the wording of any internet offer!! I was told on the phone when I called Greenwood prior to booking on the internet that some guy got a great deal through booking on the net...$100.00 per night so when I came across my deal I thought it was legit...nope....consider it 'fine print'. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!"

"The hotel was easy to get to and from and very convenient to the airport. With an early morning flight--that was important to us! The restaurants nearby were great and with the Stampede going on--enjoying the festivities. The hotel was decorated and employees were dressed in western attire so also represented the Calgary Stampede in a great way! We would definitely stay there again!"
