"when we arrived at the hotel we were informed that they over booked
quite a few rooms so we were transfered to the Bear country lodge.
The lodge was a lower rate lodge no amentities. The walls were paper thin. We could hear things happen 2 or 3 rooms down.
It was far from a pleasing or tolerating experience.
I think they over booked just to give patrons to their other hotels.
If your looking for a romantic get away or a peaceful, one stay at the Bear Country Lodge if you have no other options."

Canadian Rockies Chalets 
Located on the main access road to downtown Canmore and at the base of prime skiing, Canadian Rockies Chalets is approximately five minutes from Banff National Park. The major airport in Calgary is approximately 32 miles away.
Each unit has at least two bedrooms, as well as a balcony or patio, living room with double sofabed, completely equipped kitchen, cable television, private entry, and ample storage area.
