"I would recommend it, if someone needed a place downtown that accepted pets. It needs updating ie. the bathrooms and beds. The hotel it self was kept clean...just out dated."

"When a person is relying on the internet to book a hotel, at least the pictures could be accurate! The site for this hotel showed a beautiful swimming pool and area. I booked it for that reason. Also, this is a very old hotel and has not been maintained well. The bathrooms have not been updated since the 1970's. However, the web pictures were obviously of a new Days Inn and not the Days Inn we stayed at.
I will never book a hotel from this site again after this experience!! I know you will not print this feedback, but at least try to do something about it, like have accurate pictures so if a person wants to stay in a run down old hotel they can make an informed choice and not be shocked when they arrive. This hotel was a complete rip-off. $90 US a night!! Disgusting."

"This hotel had a great location for down town and all amenities. However, there was signage everywhere stating "you are being monitored" this was a little uncomfortable."

"The room was fine, big king-sized bed, good local TV.
The heat worked.
Free local calls.
Covered parking.
My only complaint would be that the plumbing was older style 2-tap to which we have become unaccustomed and the sink taps turned the same direction which was decidedly odd.
We asked for a quiet room and we got one.
The people at the desk were very friendly.
I would use this hotel again.

"This hotel is great if you want to spend time in downtown Edmonton, but don't want too pay a lot of money.
Highly recommend that you call and book directly with the hotel and not through a third party. Eg. Travelocity - Travelocity will charge you significantly more and will charge you in US and not Cdn dollars even though they claim that they are cheaper than calling the hotel directly. The cancellation clause is ridiculous because it is one day's stay plus an additinal $25US. Their customer service reps are argumentative and their managers do not call you back. Anyway. Hotel Good, Travelocity BAD!"
