"Your brochure said there were tea/coffee making facilities in every room but not in ours. I did ask and they did come but I was only able to plug in the coffee machine in the bathroom over the sink- not very safe and there was no kettle for tea!!
The room was compact as described but very very compact and it was right next to the road so I couldn't open the window - got hot! Bathroom tiny, bedside table badly marked rather than nicely aged.
Dinner expensive for what it was.
Seating area in lounge and patio are very comfortable. The building harmonises well with the environment unlike the Fairmont just up the road."

"VERY EXPENSIVE AND THE ROOM WAS THE SMALLEST IN OUR WHOLE TRIP. wE STAYED FOR LESS MONEY IN MUCH BETTER HOTELS IN CALGARY, VANCOUVER, KAMLOOPS AND JASPER. THE ONLY GOOD THING IS THAT IT'S 5 MINUTES WALKING FROM LAKE LOUISE"

"I was only given one pillow in my room and had to ask for another. Service in the dinning-room the first night was poor, but much better the second night (different waiter). Food was excellent, but considering the cost, I expected excellent service too."

"There were many junior staff who were unfamiliar with the way things worked at the hotel, probably will get much smoother later in the season."

"Staff tried hard but were not generally experienced enough to make it a truly exceelent experience.
Most dissapointing was that the hottub on the roof (a unique attraction in the rockies) was not operational for our entire stay and no rate reduction was ,offered becasue of that.
The hotel is pricey for its amenities, but has an excellent restaurant and beautiful location."
