"We found this to be a great family hotel. We had a standard two bedded room that was extra large, even by North American standards, and the beds were a good size.The restaurant below the hotel, the Cheshire Cheese Inn, was again very good for families. It advertised itself as english food and as british people we can confirm the food was good english at very reasonable prices. We would definitely stay there again. The water bus made it very convenient for downtown. One word sums it up, brilliant."

"Nice, clean, affordable hotel - staff are efficient and friendly and the hotel has a great location. Close to transport and is within a fantastic market where you can enjoy great food and browse over 100 shops at your leisure. A great place to stay for all the family!"

Fantastic waterfront boutique hotel, located near all attractions. Vibrant market below boasting specialty shops and food opportunities. Occupying the top two floors of the Lonsdale Quay Market in North Vancouver, this harbor-view hotel is next to a SeaBus terminal, where guests can take a12-minute ferry ride to downtown Vancouver. This property is 100 percent non smoking. As of February 1st this property will be totally renovated. Panoramic views of the Vancouver skyline highlight the Lonsdale Quay Hotel. In addition to an on-site restaurant/nightclub, guests can enjoy the markets shops, produce stands, and restaurants. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is available in the eclectically decorated guestrooms, which also offer compact refrigerators, free local calls, and private Juliet balconies or french doors in some rooms. Driving Directions: Vancouver International Airport (YVR): Approximate driving time is 45 minutes and distance is 24 km (15 mi). Driving directions from YVR International Airport: Follow Grant Maconachie Way traveling north and merge onto Granville St. Stay on Granville St. and cross Granville Bridge into downtown Vancouver. Turn left onto Georgia St. and proceed onto Stanley Park Causeway. Cross Lionsgate Bridge. Take the North Vancouver off-ramp onto Marine Dr. Turn right onto 3rd St. and right again onto Lonsdale Ave. The hotel will be located at the bottom of Lonsdale Ave., where you make an immediate right onto Carrie Cates Court. Getting around: This hotel is on a busy shopping street and right next to a bus terminal offering regularly scheduled service to locations throughout the North Shore and to downtown Vancouver. The hotel is also adjacent to a SeaBus terminal, with foot-passenger ferry service to downtown Vancouver every 12 minutes. Bus and ferry tickets cost less than 5.
