"The grounds are beautiful! We enjoyed walking around to have a look at everything. We had heard a lot about this place and wanted to see for ourselves. Luckily we got a deal on the room or I don't think we would have stayed there - too expensive! When we compare the regular price of the room with others we have stayed in, there is really no comparison. I'm not sure what the cost is based on but I know we have stayed in much nicer rooms for a lot less money. I must say that the view from our patio door was beautiful in the morning. We were looking out at the lake and with the fall colours just starting it was a very beautiful site. We will surely go back some time (we have friends in the area) if we can find another discounted offer."

"Very expensive for just an ordinary room. The facilities seemed good but we got there too late due to weather and had to leave early so we were not able to see much but our room. We did manage to get there in time to catch a meal before the restaurant closed and it was very good.
Room service for coffe, strawberries and crossants was very pricy at $28."

"I was disappointed not to be able to go snowshoeing or dog-sled riding, but I guess you can't control the weather! We still enjoyed our stay, however - I had a wonderful time in the spa, for instance!"

Deerhurst Resort 
This hotel sits on 800 acres, including the shores of Lake Peninsula, and is located approximately 140 miles from Lester B Pearson International Airport.
Recreational facilities include a golf course, full spa, five tennis courts, indoor pool, two squash courts, and fitness center. For dining, the hotel has four restaurants and two lounges.
