"This hotel was convenient for me to stay at for a long drive. Otherwise, I would find another place. Nothing friendly at all about the desk attendant. No coffee maker or fridge. Rate was the same for other hotels that had more. Currently being worked on. It definitely needs updated."

"Unfortunately, there was a power outage and we spent a large portion of our day without power. I found it a little difficult to understand that the hotel was without a generator of some sort. Other than that, the hotel stay was fairly good."

"We were given a room with a double bed instead of a Queensize bed as per our reservation. We asked for a room with a Queen - after moving our luggage into that room we discovered the air conditioning was not working in it. We asked for another room - it was not as nice a room as the first room with the double bed. Since there were no more Queen size bed rooms, we ended up taking a room with a double bed. On the second morning, we discovered that the coffee maker had not been cleaned out nor the regular coffee replenshed. These are the things that caused me to rate the stay as indicated above."

"Location is the main selling point - looking out over the lake and marina, from both bedroom and dining room, gave the feeling of holidaying in the Muskokas or Haliburton, without the traffic snarls. Proximity to village of Jordan, with quaint stores and antiques, reminded us of Niagara-on-the-Lake in miniature, WITHOUT the crowds of tourists. The Dining Room food is a bit pricey for the quality, but the service there was excellent."

"I found the view of the harbour was lovely. It was so convenient to have a restaurant, and bar on site. Also the swimming pool was open until 11:00 pm. Since we attended a conference, you were able to go outside for a walk during break times."

"There is a misleading banner out front advertising a Prime Rib Special that doesn't appear on the menu. The room information mentioned a seafood buffet that the dining room staff told me hadn't been offered for years. You have an attractive dining room; the service was so-so, and the price was probably a little high for value received. We liked the lake views from our room and the dining room. We would probably return."

"The main parts of the hotel are very nice, reception, pool area, restaurant and bar. The view is very beautiful, situated on the shores of Lake Ontario. However, the rooms are in very bad need of refurbishing. The rooms were not very clean and the decor is very old. Even the telephone was very old and people told me they could not hear me on this. The location is handy to the major highway but it is in the middle of nowhere. I would not recommend this hotel and I will not stay here again because of the rooms."
