"paying cash for a room also required a $100 deposit on check in. Combined, nothing in the room would have amounted to $100. The room smelled of cigar smoke even though there was a non-smoking sign on the door. The bathroom fixtures were stained and grundgy. The highlight was the pool and the hotel's close proximity to the Kitchener Auditorium."

"Our stay at your hotel was fine. Your hotel could use a few updates in the rooms such as new curtains, fixing up holes in walls and sreens and a fresh coat of paint. The pool area could use some better lighting. I found it to be too dark and in need of a good cleaning."

"I only stayed at this hotel for one night - in late and out early so my comments are only relevant to the condition of the room itself rather than the hotel as a whole. My only disappointment was that there was no breakdast available, but the desk staff pointed me towards a nice restaurant across the street so I didn't have to go hungry."

"We were very worried after booking this hotel on the internet, on arriving we wondered what we had done. The unkempt feeling on arriving had us worried. First impressions are very important. A lot could be done to improve this. However our stay was comfortable."

"I was very disapointed as I asked for a quiet area as I was working all weekend and I was placed by an elevator. I was woken up at least 16 different times through my 3 night stay. Also the pool was warm one time only out of 4 days. You would see it not being used for that reason so we did not get to use that privilege that we thought that we would have. The buffet was also just warm not the best of equipment for a buffet especially at that price. I can say this I worked 12 hour days and expected quietness when I got to my room at right through the all hours of the night people screaming is not a pleasant stay. I am not one to ask for favours but I don;t like to cause problems so I usually don't say much as not much is usually done but I am not anywere 100% satisfied. I was so upese that I would have asked for my money back but I had already put it on my card. I travel world wide and stay at motel at least 30 weekends a year and I wished that I would have been happier as I go back to Kitchener every year on business. I hope that some of these things are regulated as you will loose not only my business but many other and I would still like it reinbursed. If you choose to do so just re-apply it on my card and I will try to hotel again.

"We were in Kitchener for a funeral and so the sights were not important. Hot tub was out of service, bathroom wasn't very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. We will be staying at another HJ in Niagara Falls next week, this time for a holiday. Hope the bathroom will be cleaner :)"
