"For someone unfamiliar with the area, the hotel was very easy to access from the highway."

"Hotel needs a million dollar refurbishing job. Room was damp and smelled of mildew. Carpet was filty..even the bedspread had cigrette burns in it. Everything looked like it need repairs. Rust on the wall underneath sink, 2 colour tiles around tub, Water temperature kept changing when someone was taking a shower.....the list goes on.
Note we only stayed there for 2 night October 14 and oct 15th please refund my credit card. I called the hotel well in advance with this cancellation.

Valencia from Ferndale, MI US stayed on January 27, 2004
"Dave the clerk who checked me in was great. Super service, super friendly and polite. The room was OK, it had a comfortable bed, hot shower and good tv reception. However, I would not recommend this motel in the winter. The part I stayed in is an old 1 story motel. The whole front "wall" is windows/glass. The windows rattled endlessly and there was a breeze coming through the bottom of the door jam that made newspaper ruffle. The heat was very lame. Although, I didn't mind that too much as I keep my heat low at home in the winter. I put towels on the floor around the door to stop the breeze. The only major complaint I have is that the neighboring clientell were lound and obnoxious and even though I asked the front desk to ask them to quiet down, they did some, but it wasn't much help. Can't really blame that on the motel I guess. So, I just bit the bullet until I finally managed to fall asleep. In milder weather, it would be nice place to stay when you don't plan to spend much time in the room and the neighbors are respectful.
Also, keep in mind I just happend to be caught up in what the news reported as the worst winter storm in the area in the past 5 years. The location was great for my purposes. As long as they keep the rate low and the rooms clean, not bad for the money."
