"didn't enjoy the need for tokens for the pop machine. difficult to get tokens at front desk when staff is busy, obviously. sort of a hassle."

"The hotel is under renovations. The painters were in the hall finishing their work one night and they were very polite and efficient. I also thought the parking garage was excellent. Arriving late at night, I felt very safe. I was attending a conference and had little time to shop or enjoy London. But the accomodations were fine, affordable and the breakfast was served very nicely. I even enjoyed getting the Globe & Mail.

"For a business traveler, this location would be fine. Functional room with wireless internet. Continental breakfast a wee bit on the lean side. Easy access to most major things.
If you are vacationing, though, this is not a good choice. No pool. No workout facility. VERY limited parking.
We stayed during a weekend that coincided with a local youth basketball tournament. Big mistake. There were kids running around everywhere and making LOTS of noise LATE at night. Despite numerous calls to the front desk, little was done. My impression was that the hotel should have been better staffed to prepare for this. The people at the front desk often lamented about the fact that there were only two of them there, and that someone had to be at the front desk all of the time. That is a weak excuse, and shows a lack of preparation (or care) for the customer."

"We checked in passed 10:00pm so it was really just a bed and breakfast that we were interested in. The room was clean and bathroom looked newly renovated. I found that the lobby needs some attention; swept of salt from outside and maybe a newer carpet. The elevator could of used a sweep as well. But I was surprised on how clean the room was considering how old the building must be.... I would stay there again. I would also like to commend Ken (who checked us in). He called the room to let me know that I had forgotten my credit card at the front desk and said it would be waiting for me in the morning, if I preferred not to come down to get it. And the attendant in the breakfast room was very neat and efficent; she kept all the tables cleared and all the breakfast items "topped up". Thanks for a restful stay."

"Comfort hotel is a very nice place to stay, except our air conditioning in our room would not work no matter what we tried and since we paid good money to stay there I wasn't very pleased with that. As well, the front desk was very unorganized at check-in time, there were too many trainees on the desk whom did not have a clue of what they were doing. However, Sunny looked after us and she was a very friendly and helpful person to deal with."

"I stayed in room 415. One of the beds was visibly very saggy. I slept in the other. The pillows were flat. Otherwise the room was very good. I asked for a bottle opener which was produced quickly and graciously. The breakfast room in the morning (Tuesday at about 8:00) was set up weel but there wasn't enough help. The trays of food had run out, the cereal dispenser for the raisin Bran was broken, there needed to be 2 toasters (there were about 8 people lined up for toast)."

"We were up until 4:30 am listening to people on our floor go from room to room , slamming their doors , falling over in drunken stupors, etc. Our family ( three children) had to get up at 6:00 to go to a swim meet.
We were also given wrong directions to our restaurant that we were supposed to meet friends at. It was clear the girl didn't know where it was even though she gave us a coupon for the same restaurant."

"Housekeeping has issues when unable to gain access to rooms having Do Not Disturb signs on the door. They disregarded the wishes of a few patrons on the floor I was staying on, were loud and yelled down the hall to each other while cleaning, and cursed a few times when they were unable to enter my room. I had been out late the night prior, had made sure to put my Do Not Disturb sign on the door, and still they tried to enter three times before 10 am, effectively waking me up when i believed I had made my wishes clear with the sign. Please ensure they check for signs, keep their voices down when speaking to one another, and clean up their language while they clean up the rooms."
