"Late one evening I went to the front desk to ask the receptionist a couple of questions. I was standing at the front desk for about 5 minutes, while she was back in the office , which sounded like a personal call, on the phone. I got a little impatient, so I knocked on the counter. The receptionist shouts out, "hold on a minute". So, I stood and waited at the front desk for about 7 more minutes until she finally came out. She kindly said,"what do you want"? I bit my toungue and asked her what I needed to ask. I asked 3 questions and I got 3 answers, no, no, and no. I thanked the receptionist for her great help and proceeded up to my room for the night. I believe that this lady was very unprofessional and needed help with her social skills. I was totally angered by this, and for that I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Hire a new receptionist."

"There wasn't an iron in the room, and the front desk told us we had to go find housekeeping if we wanted more towels. Also, the sheets did not stay on the bed, and the entire building was too hot and smelled musty."

"When we got to our room there were big cookie crumbs in the window and there was a comment card that someone had field out April 10th left in the room. The coffe pot had coffe burned in it and the covers had hair all over them. We didn't complain because we had blankets in the car and with the deal we got if we cancelled the room would have been charged the same as if we stayed. I was happy with how close it was to everthing but needless to say I couldn't wait to get home and take a bath to feel clean."

"Our room was designated non smoking but when you go into the washroom you can perceive the odour of cigarette from the vent. Perharps coming from other smoking room on the same level."

"It was good for the price. I loved the gas fireplace in the room. It was nice to have a pool and hottub to relax in. It's not that close to the falls, but they have a shuttle and it's easily accessable by car."

"We were on the 4th floor and it would have been nice to have an elevator, but that really wasn't a big deal. Overall this hotel was rated good. It did need bigger bathrooms, but it was clean, friendly, and a generally nice stay."

"The room we stayed in was next to the entrance and an icemaker and we could hear everytime someone used either of them.
We could hear every conversation in the hall. It was not nearly sound proof enough. We could also hear when people were having showers."

"We ended up getting to the hotel to find out they had renovations the next night, so we were shifted to the Best Western Fireside next door. It was hot and stuffy in the room, the bathroom fan didn't work, and the air exchange on the wall worked but was bent and the filter was broken. The ice machine was almost always broken. When you flushed the toilet it sounded like the pipes were going to come out of the wall."

"We booked this room for only one nite and then stayed at The Oakes ,(a nicer place supposedly ) The Days Inn North of The Falls was better and the price excited us alot !!! We would definitely stay there next time . We had a rental car so we could drive in closer to stuff and we took a tour bus one day from there ,alot of attractions you must walk to anyhow so the people mover could pick you up there and take you or catch a shuttle when available you could ask about that ! (we was there in oct ,the end of oct and we didn't see many buses that we could quiet figure out their stopping points ,but I'm sure you could get info .
OUR ROOM HAD 2 QUEENS AND A FIREPLACE AND CLEAN (WOW) IT WAS GREAT ,AND WE ATE BREAKFAST NEXT DOOR AND THEY GAVE US A DISCOOUNT FOR STAYING THERE *** ASK ABOUT JOING RESTAURANTS AND COUPONS ETC.
SINCERELY ,TERESA BOLT IN VA."
