"Smoking and non-smoking rooms cannot be on the same floor. I could smell the cigarettes everyhwere including my room. Apart from that, the price and convenience to the downtown core was great."

"Staff very helpful, gave great directions for travel. Although it's some distance from downtown, the Queen St. streetcar runs right outside the door and it's a direct run to the downtown core (skydome, CN tower, etc.) The Beaches district is really nice too -- little shops and cafes, and of course the beach nearby. Lastly, there's a great pub right next door!"

"Arrived at noon and was told the room would be ready at 3 pm. Came back later at 4:30 and the room was still not ready. We asked the manager to do something as we needed to get changed for a dinner party, finally it was the maid who took matters in hand and insisted to the manager that he put us into another room. The maid was very friendly and helpful. We use this hotel 6 or 7 times per year and this is the first problem we've encountered. It will not deter us from returning."

"just a note that the noise between rooms travels. We had neighbours that were noisy for about 45 minutes after 2 am and we couldn't sleep during that time."

"the parking is free and there is access to public transit at the door. About a 20 min ride to downtown by streetcar. Within walking/driving distance to the beach. Lots of bike paths. Movie complex accross the street. Very safe area."

"older building ground floor rooms (where we stayed) are actually half-underground (the windows looked out at the wheels of the parked cars in the parking lot)."
