"The lights in my room other than the bathroom did not work. It was too late in the night (midnight) for me to call the frot desk. I did mention it to them in the morning, they made no comment, just checked me out."

"We had requested a Non Smoking room when we booked it over a month ago, but there were non available so we had to go into a Smoking room and the smell of smoke was very noticable, they did spray the room for us twice and put in a smoke machine to try and clean the air, but the smell was always noticable."

"The hotel was fine. It was reasonablity priced. We weren't interested in shopping so can't comment much on that. Although I didn't see much at that end. We went to go to the casino. So that is about all we did. We ate brunch there and it was really good. The stay was great for us. I am sure we will be back. Thank you, Dean and Anna Barnard"

"My major concern was that the room was a smoking room. The scent of that room was not pleasant. The front desk stated that the room was booked as smoking. This was very unfortunate as I am a non smoker. Does not the booking organization think it important to differentiate between smoking and non smoking rather than defaulting to a non smoking room? I have stayed at Best Western's before and found the experiences to be positive except for this time. Should I book in the future or will this happen on ocassion?"

"Please do not mix smoking and non-smoking rooms. We were initially placed in a non-smoking room amongst smoking rooms. The hallway stunk and we would have left if not given an alternative. The desk clerk was not particularly understanding but after prompting provided another room for us (in a non-smoking wing). We enjoyed this room but the stay had already been tainted for us by our experience on arriving."
