"This hotel was awesome - it was right in the heart of vieux quebec and I would stay there again and recommend it to everyone. You can walk to all of the historic attractions, tourist shops, restaurants, gorgeous views and take advantage of all the street festival events very easily from this hotel. We didn't use our car for our stay here - we walked everywhere and it was awesome!! Also excellent is the restaurant attached to the hotel called Cote des Freres which served awesome breakfasts, dinner and lunches."

"L'hotel du Vieux Quebec is a fabulous place to stay and the most economical of all we looked at online. It is right in the middle of the old town, close to the railway station, and minutes away from sightseeing and restaurants. The room was very comfortable for relaxing in after full days of walking. The desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The staff were courteous and friendly. I had requested on the freehotelsearch form that we have a room on the main or send floor as one elderly person was with me and had difficulty with stairs. The hotel had given us a room on the 4th floor (no elevator), so when I mentioned it they gave us an upgraded room on the 4th floor where there was an elevator. However, as they gave us the upgraded room, they wouldn't give the CAA discount. The fridge didn't work and wasn't repaired while we were there. Parking was 3 blocks away - as it is the old part of Quebec City, there isn't much parking at the old hotels. I would, however, go there again."

"Room had a sink in it (instead of in the bathroom) and was small, but really nice, clean, cheap and in a great location. All you can eat mussels in the restaurant downstairs."
