"We were 'upgraded' to a suite. It didn't have a bath, just a shower which wasn't particularly helpful. The soundproofing in the rooms was deplorable - we thought someone was using our bathroom in the middle of the night! The breakfast was revolting - really the worst food I've ever been served. Needless to say, we went hungry. We were also treated to a Christian religious service, complete with LOUD hymn singing from early morning on the Friday until we checked out that afternoon. (Bahrain is a Moslem country and Friday is supposedly the 'day of rest'.) The staff were friendly enough, but we certainly won't be staying there again."
