"The bar area could be open a bit later as there is not much to do after dinner in that neighourhood if you are in your 30s or 40s.
Although the fee for the front desk getting cabs and making phone calls (if you don't speak Portuguese) for dinner reservations are not expensive, the front desk people should advise in advance that there is a charge for such services, and how much they will be. Also, we booked in US$, but were forced to pay in local currency, which ended up being more given the change in exchange rates from when we booked till when we paid. We should have been permitted to pay in US$."
