classic double rooms have a queen size bed and are
furnished with distinctive burred oak furniture adding
a touch of the art deco age, entirely appropriate to a
hotel which first opened its doors in 1913. for a
city centre hotel, the rooms are good sized, quiet and,
an added bonus, the windows open. the air conditioning
is individually controlled as well. on the security
side, access to the rooms is by a state of the art,
computer coded locking system and every room has a new
electronic safe, large enough for a laptop and
controlled by the guests own credit card or a coded
system if preferred. other room facilities include
complimentary tea and coffee making tray, a hairdryer,
mini bar, trouser press, satellite and pay movie
channels, bathrobe, face cloth, bath and power shower.
for communications, two separate phone lines allow
voice and data communication simultaneously and both us
and european jack sockets are provided. a large
working desk and the facility to have your own personal
