The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel is located on the Duke and Duchess of Devonshires, Bolton Abbey Estate and is set in the Yorkshire Dales national Park. The hotel is in park like surrounding close to the river wharfe with Heather Moorland a mile or so away. The hotel is furnished with antiques and paintings from the Devonshires family home Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. 3 Red Stars awarded by AA for consistently providing outstanding levels of hospitality, service, food and comfort Rac Gold Ribbon for excellent levels of service and food. Burlington Restaurant awarded 3 AA Rosettes is featured in many respected restaurant guides and also retained it's Michelin Star in 2005. Wonderful walks are available within the estate which covers 33,000 acres. Details are available from reception. Hotel through garden hosts it's very own chicken coop, where chickens roam freely. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens, cultivated by the estate ground staff under the watchful eye of keen gardener Jeremy Rata, our managing director. Guests are welcome to roam around the hotel flower garden, pick their own flowers for their room or simply to enjoy and unwind. The hotel vegetable garden is the hotel's kitchen garden, where Michael Wignall, the hotel's executive chef takes a keen interest in it's development.
