"The Hotel was located about 30mins drive from the Airport. Would recomend that you book a taxi direct from the hotel to pick you up but expect to pay more than the hotel quotes. The Hotel advertises excursions/trips, we had two bad experiences with those we booked, therefore I can't recommend them. The Hotel reception staff spoke good English, which helped with the organisation of taxi's and information."

Amalia Hotel is a 19-century building situated close to Saint Peters Square and a few meters from the subway station Ottaviano. All of the area around the hotel is a shopping center and the Spanish Steps are less than a mile away. Within two miles are Castel Saint Angelo, Olympic Stadium, Rome's city center, and the main line train station. Roma Fiumicino Airport is approximately 18 miles from the hotel.
