"It was written, that it has a swimmingpool, that was the reason we have chosen that hotel, but the swimmingpool was closed, we didn't get percent off because of that."

"We found the 1 Euro charge for using blue towels at the swimming pool tiresome. It meant that my wife who doesn't swim had to pay just to watch over the children. Would have preferred to have used our own towels and not been charged and free to use the pool at all times whether there was a life guard or not. Would have been happy to tip the life guard instead.
We wanted to use the kitchen and booking this in advance wasn't possible with the internet or dealing with the hotel direct. We were disappointed to discover that there was a E18 charge per day which was for the cost of crockery etc. In the end we didn't bother. But to not even provide a kettle to make hot drinks in our room we thought was a bit mean. The cooker was very old and didn't appear to work very well anyway.
The timing of cleaning the room was not clear. Would have preferred to have had a card which we could have hung on the door handle as in other hotels to indicate when our room was free to clean. Towels weren't replaced every day.
The hotel was not within easy walking distance of any places where you could eat or drink that were open. It was a bus ride every time to reach anywhere. A courtesy bus to drop folk into town or to the metro at Cornelia would have made life easier for us and the children. We were reliant on the hotel selling us bus tickets.
However despite the small hardships, once we got used to them we very much enjoyed our time.
The breakfasts were wonderful but could do with some fruit or protein on offer - too many carbohydrates!!"
