"The hotel and beach were exactly like the pictures. Gorgeous!!However, there are no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. You must eat all meals out. This is a remote area with nice, expensive hotels in the area. Eating was expensive.
New Years Eve we tried the Chef Binni's restaurant in the hotel. They were only serving a fixed meal with a choice of bass or tenderloin. It was very over priced. We ordered the tenderloin and had to send one meal back because it was raw. I noticed other customers sent their meals back to the kitchen, too. The meat was not tender or tasteful. We actually had a better meal from a buffet on the beach.
I tried to e-mail, fax, and phone the hotel before our arrival to make sure our reservation was in order. I didn't get any replies. Our reservations were made six months in advance. When we arrived they did not have our reservation. We arrived on a Sunday and the reservations department wasn't open. However, they gave us a lovely room, and the next day our reservation was found. We felt uneasy and concerned until we were able to clear up the problem. We called Hotels-123.com, and they assured us that the hotel received our reservation.
Huatulco is gorgeous. The sky was always blue without any clouds. At night the sky was so full of stars I couldn't even find the big dipper."

Camino Real Zaashila 
Tangolunda Bay, one of the nine breathtaking Bays of Huatulco, is home to Camino Real Zaashila. The Mediterranean-style complex overlooks the quarter mile of exclusive beach, a spectacular 130-yard-long sculptured pool, the lighted tennis court, an outdoor Jacuzzi, and the nearby 18-hole championship golf course. There is also a fitness room on site. Two flexible rooms are available for events up to 150 guests. The three restaurants and bars include international and Oaxacan offerings in Chez Binni. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Other services include babysitting, concierge, currency exchange, laundry, and safety deposit.
The hotel's 120 rooms feature satellite televisions, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, minibars, marble tubs, double sinks, separate shower and tub, hairdryers, purified water, and coffee makers. The new villas rooms are large suites decorated in rustic Oaxaca furnishings and are located on the hillside of the hotel offering privacy and ocean views. One bedroom villas feature one bedroom with a king bed, 2 complete bathrooms, a living area with a sofa bed, dining room, kitchenette and a terrace. Some of the suites include a private plunge pool with ocean views. Two bedroom villas feature 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with 2 double beds, 3 complete bathrooms, a living area with a sofa bed, dining room, kitchenette, terrace and private plunge pool with ocean views.
