"We were traveling with our teenage daughter so this was one of the few hotels that could accomodate all of us in one room (it was actually a 2 room suite. It's small and comfortable, the neighborhood is safe and fairly quiet with a little supermarket a half block away. It is only a couple of blocks away from the American Embassy and a little further from one of the nicest branches of the only department store in Madrid, El Cortes Ingles. The staff was very helpful and courteous without exception. The only problem with the location was the several blocks we had to walk to a metro statio. But we preferred this to anywhere near the Gran Via."
