"The hotel did not have my reservation and kept me hanging around at 2.00am before giving me a room. They queried the rate of $55 and said that taxes were extra. They charged me $70+ per night.
The Colombo Plaza is better value and the rooms are better.
My a/c unit was too noisy for sleeping.
No internet connection in the room. Not a good hotel for business.
No food in the Sports bar. Buffet dinner does not start in PORTS until 7.30pm. Too late for families."

"The general state of the room was good. However, the quality of the breakfast was extremley poor. Overall, I am sure there are better hotels within this region of the city for the same amount of money. We also stayed at the Taj Airport GArden which was outstanding in comparison. It is difficult to believe that both hotels are owned by the same group."
