"this is a wilderness lodge.. so shopping and airport distance not a consideration. very comfortable rooms.. it is the most recent lodge opened by princess in alaska, and is in the first stages of (possible) development. only one two story building at this point.. lots of land to add additional buildings available.. but nice and quiet at this point. we stayed at 3 other princess properties on our trip and this was by far the least comercial.. fairbanks is right in town, denali and mckinley are older with other resort properties nearby.. as well as alternate choices for dining and activities..plus "tourist shops" selling the made in china authentic alaska mementos.. the copper river property is isolated.. which was just fine with us.. nice hiking, beautiful vistas and very good food in both the restaurant and bistro."
