"I thought I would have a real handicapped room but the toilet was not handicapped (too low) and there was no rail to hold onto in the bathtub."

The Catalina Canyon Resort and Spa is situated at the foothills of Avalon Bay on Catalina Island, approximately a half-mile from downtown Avalon and about an hour boat ride from Long Beach. Local attractions include Avalon Theater, Catalina Island Gallery & Museum, Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Gardens, and Catalina Conservancy.
Hotel amenities include courtesy shuttle to boat terminals in Avalon and downtown, ice/vending machines, continental breakfast, sauna, heated pool, hot tub, sundecks, and a European-style day spa offering massage therapy, body wraps, scrubs, and facials.
