"Staying at the Beau Sky couldn't have been nicer. We had a beautiful room with a nice view and the location was perfect. The staff were very friendly and willing to assist us- letting us borrow things from the kitchen and accomodating us very well overall. We'll be staying there again on our next trip."

"They accepted our dog which we appreciated. It was 2 blocks to the university which is what we were looking for but "on the wrong side of town"--lots of beggars and noisy street life. Hotel was not the "beautiful, restored Victorian mansion" we had read about in some guidebooks. Much of the furniture was very cheap and tacky (press board) to start with and was starting to fall apart. No hot water at the basin--shower okay. Management didn't really seem to know how to run a hotel--cleaning was substandard. Considering the "amenities" and lousy area, price should have been about $45 a night."
