"the hotel was too expensive for the money, Bathroom was very small, no hairdryer, no airconditioning , no fridge, shades were broken, continental breakfast was poor, all over appearance of the hotel was run down."

Thundercloud Resort 
Accommodations at Thundercloud Resort are rustic and comfortable. We have a total of 64 guest rooms, ranging from single bedrooms all the way up to two bedroom family suites. Many of our accommodations include gas burning fireplaces and small kitchens. Recreation abounds in our heated indoor swimming pool, spa and saunas and, our huge barbeque is available to all our guests. Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall are all super at Thundercloud Resort, in Big Bear Lake, California. Along with clean, clean air, we have every imaginable recreation waiting (including snow skiing, water skiing, mountain bike riding, bird watching, fishing and much, much more). either at the Resort or within a few minute walk or drive; Thundercloud Resort is the place to be. Big Bear Lake is only a block away. The Village, with shopping, dining and special events, is only two blocks away. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski resorts are minutes from our door.
