"The hotel was convenient as it was located in downtown Hanford. The pool was clean and VERY useful with the heat (it was over 100 degrees during my stay in the hotel).
However, I have 2 complaints regarding the room. Although the room was relatively clean, especially for a smoking room which we had to stay in due to no non-smoking rooms available, we did have to deal with several cockroaches in the bathroom. We also had a problem the entire time with the toilet being clogged. Hotel staff unclogged the toilet the first day of our stay, but on the 2nd day that we complained about the clog, staff simply handed us a cup of draino and a plunger and let us take care of the problem ourself.
This was pretty inconvenient, as we had to take the elevator downstairs and use the restroom near the pool for the majority of our stay."
