"When we checked in, an older lady checked us in (wish we would've paid attention to the name - I'll call her 'Marge')... She was extremely blunt - and since we didn't make the reservations with them directly, it sent her into a mini-tizzy... "Oh, I HATE these!" she said when we showed her our confirmation slips.
Anyhow she was pretty rude - but other interactions with other personnel was not as bad.
The decor was pretty schmaltzy - not unlike my 79 year old mother's house. The trip into Yosemite is a trek! It's about 20 minutes to the entrance of Yosemite and about another 35 minutes to any of the main attractions (i.e. the Yosemite Valley). If at all possible, stay in the park. If not, this'll work. But just barely."

"The grounds are very pretty and well kept. Grassy areas, stream, small waterfall, and pool. Rooms are fairly average but the setting is private and nice."
