"I arrived at a late hour due to my luggage being lost by Varig, but when I arrived at hotel, I was made totally welcome and the staff made sure that I was comfortable and that they would be on the lookout for my lost bags. Even though the hour was late, the executive chef in their Azul Restaurant called my room and offered to make a special dinner for my room. The food was superb. Everything about this hotel is top notch and the sense of competence and understatement make the stay more of an experience than just a visit. I have stayed at the company's London hotel, as well, and I knew that the service would be excellent and the room luxurious, but this hotel is trully beautiful."

"Eastern calm in downtown Miami ! rooms and bathrooms sumptuous , food is well prepared and Asian influenced menu is tasty . Staff are attentive and polite but the service in the cafe and valet parking is patchy when under stress ."
