New Yorker Boutique Hotel was originally constructed as The New Yorker Motel in 1953 by a famous post World War II modern architect. The building is now a protected landmark on Miami's MiMo Boulevard, but inside the walls of this classic looking 1950s motel is a trendy upscale boutique hotel. Completely renovated by husband and wife team Walter and Shirley Figueroa, New Yorker Boutique Hotel is unlike any other hotel in the area. The hotel is located north of Miami's Design District and it is one of the most prominent buildings that gives the Miami Modern Architectural District its name.The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel's location is extremely convenient as it is 10 minutes from Miami's International Airport, 10 minutes from the beach, and 10 minutes from Downtown and the Port of Miami.MiMo Boulevard which runs from 50th street to 77th street on Biscayne Boulevard is becoming a new hotspot in Miami and is full of great restaurants such as Michelle Bernstein's Michy's, Uva69, Metro Organic Bistro and many more.
