"We chose the Hampton Inn because of its name.
However, we were not told that the beach was severely eroded. We chose a beachfront hotel to go to the beach; fortunately, post low tide occurred in mid-morning and permitted access to the beach, instead of having to walk barefoot down the street to gain access. You should have told us that the beach was erode and only have access from the property at certain times.
Only 1 ice machine worked - the 4th floor; the one on the 3rd produced very little ice and the ones on the other floors did not work whatsoever.
Also, a non-English speaking Chinese gentleman and I got stuck on an elevator at night. Fortunately, someone was able to reset the elevators.
At the suggestion of the front desk, we explored other hotels. We would have changed hotels if we could have found another on the beach that had a sleeper sofa for our daughter.
Housekeeping was always curtious and helpful."
