[ 1 review(s) ] Anonymous guest from Tempe, AZ US stayed on February 11, 2005 "I know you can't fix everything that is wrong with a hotel, but this one could use some attention. Arrived 2:15PM last Monday for check-in. Had reserved a king size bed with microwave in room, and had confirmation number. Was told by gruff female clerk (middle aged, blond hair) that hotel was booked and would have to settle for two queens and no microwave. (I didn't argue, but with no cars in the parking lot, and it was pretty obvious that I was among the first to check in for the week.) Asked same clerk to send a fax for me later that week. Tried, but said she couldn't because the number supplied was not in service. She handed the fax back to me and it was obvious she did not wish to try again. The number I supplied was correct. Got another clerks attention moments later and she sent the fax with no problems. FYI, trouble was only with one clerk, other hotel staff are helpful and attentive. Real reason for the feedback...I didn't get what I reserved and in just two encounters was treated by one of the staff as a burden rather than a customer. Maybe the latter was just someone having a bad week, I can understand. First floor bathrooms have small ants, but not in large numbers. Rooms are very dimly lit. Shower heads are mounted too low, very uncomfortable for anyone over 5'10". Rooms with dual queen beds are not suited for business travel. Furniture is crowded. Don't believe me? Just try staying there for a week, get a dual queen, try to read the paper without holding it up to the light, find room on the table for a laptop and dinner, adjust the TV so you can watch from the table, move the chairs so you can sit at the desk. Try that and you'll see how uneasy those rooms are. I do like the clothes hangers." Recommends the hotel to others? No
