"I left this comment on a card at the front desk:
Housekeeping persisted in turning down the temperature setting on the air conditioner so that the room was very cold. This happened on two occasions during our four night stay. The first was upon check-in; the room was cold, requiring running in heat mode for several minutes. The middle two days were o.k.; housekeeping left the setting as I had left it. The last day was the worst. The temperature setting was left on full cold at a high fan speed and the room was icy-cold (really!), requiring running on heat mode for an extended time. This left a very poor impression on what was otherwise a very good lodging experience. Had it still been a Hampton Inn we would have requested waiver of the room charge for that night!"
