"The hotel is badly in need of updating. The wallpaper is dingy and peeling in places, and the carpet needs cleaning or changing. Our room was supposed to have been non-smoking, but smelled of cigarette smoke -including the bedding. The rate we paid ($119.00 per night) was entirely too much. In fact, the smell of stale cigarette smoke was so strong in the lobby bar, we turned around at the door. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else considering all of the new hotels in town. It is sad to see the premier hotel in town for so many years wind up in such a state."

"I have stayed at many hilton Hotels and have used this one frequently for several years for various companies, etc. and i feel the need for you to upgrade interior facilities such as room bathrooms due to age. I had slight problems using the old faucets and they continued to leak after shutting off. The stay is pleasant but not the usual Hilton standards, however, hilton may downreaching for a more general public image to increase usage and if so then it is understandable but i have always expected more from Hilton.
