"I had trouble with the cable service not working, yet it was fixed promptly. The front desk personnel were generally helpful, although I got incomplete information from them twice.
I was overcharged on an item of laundry.....disappointed in the quality of that service as well. Others in my group stayed at Embassy Suites and had a much better experience. I walked over to the suites got better info from their front desk...much better actually. I will stay there next month.
As an aside, on the front desk, Anthony did a good job of info, getting a cab, and fixing the laundry issue (I'll know for certain when the Amex arrives). The room was quite clean as well."

"The hotel accommodation and service was just great. Though it was some distance from the venue of the 8th International Conference on Bisexuality, it was very close to the city's shopping, food and entertainment areas. I also felt safe coming and going from the hotel at any hour. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Wayne from Brisbane, Australia."

The Best Western Normandy Inn & Suites is centrally located in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis. The hotel is five blocks from the Metrodome Stadium (Twins & Vikings), and the Minneapolis Convention Center. All major government, bank and commercial buildings are an easy walk from the hotel as are Orchestra Hall, the Orpheum and State Theatres, the Target center and other Downtown entertainment venues.
The light rail line to the airport and Mall of America are only three blocks from the hotel and the city's renowned skyway system is accessible across the street.
