"Saw on another evaluation where the cleanser smell was too strong and I would agree!
Other than the STRONG cleanser smell the room was very NICE!
One reason I selected Jameson Inn Tupelo was for their advertised Belgian waffles, however when we went for breakfast around 8:am the waffle iron was NOT on and NO waffle batter was present!?!? We asked and were told that they would get it all ready? They then went and FORGOT all about it? So when my wife went to inquire again she over heard a conversation to the effect that “they will get a jelly roll soon and leave us alone” well after her insentience they finally got up and mixed some batter and turned the iron on!
After an LONG wait we finally had Belgian waffles, which would have been better if the mix had eggs in it. How do we know no eggs? We saw them make the mix as per the instructions on the bag for water only! Soon after we cooked our waffles everyone else in the breakfast nook joined in and enjoyed waffles as well!
Sooooo… If you want Belgian waffles at Jameson Inn Tupelo you may want to inquire after them early so that they know you expect them to honor their advertisements!"
