"Wear comfortable shoes, cobblestones are not easy to walk on! The illusion of being outside created by the 'trompe l'oeile' ceiling is very cool!"

"We received excellent service from the hotel staff. I did have a problem with the quality of haircut and blowdry that we received from the salon. I had to have my hair recut after your salon cut and my wife was not happy with her blowdry. We were getting married in your hotel and our hair care was the last thing we had to take care of. My wife didn't really have a choice but to leave her hair the way it was because the wedding ceremony was only 45 min. away. We just feel as though a hotel as beautiful as the Paris is should have a better hair stylist, especially if they are going to be doing hair for weddings."

"Value is not to be found at this hotel.
First, they put you in rooms which face the desert and which lack any sense of charm or modernity. We did not even have a bar fridge. Last time I stayed here, they gave us suites, which were very nice. Now I have had a chance to see what the rest of the rooms are like, I am not going back.
Second, the hotel is very, very poor in terms of on-site attractions. You go the the Bellagio, for example, and you have the famous fountainworks, the Cirque du Soleil, the Conservatory (a nice little garden), etc. The Venetian, upon which the Paris is closely modeled (including the faux sky ceiling) contains many, many more shops and attractions, and even a charming little piazza with opera singer. Nothing like that at the Paris.
Third, Paris' feature restaurant - the Eiffel Tower restaurant - should be avoided. It is an excuse to charge you a hefty sum of money for food which would put most restaurants out of business after one or two months where I come from (New York). The restaurant advertises its alleged city views. Well, no matter how hard I strained, I kept on seeing the top of Caesars Palace and the Bellagio -both across the street - towering over the restaurant. So much for the height.
Fourth, the layout of this hotel is abysmal. When entering this hotel, all you get is slot machines in your face. You have to negotiate a maze of slot machines just to find the reception. Awful, awful, awful. The hotel forgot that its namesake city is famout for one thing - its class. This hotel lacks that in abundance.
Fifth, the hotel club Risque. Well, given how badly everything else was, I couldn't bring myself to go to this Paris hotel nightclub. So I can't really comment.
Avoid the Paris. Go to the Venetian or one of the other hotels and get a better experience. Hope this helps"
