The Horizon Casino Resort is located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe with 539 spacious rooms and suites and just 50 minutes from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport. The Horizon is a full service resort offering three great restaurants and daily/nightly entertainment for all ages. The Horizon is just a free ski shuttle ride away from the best ski resorts in the country. Within walking distance are the Gondola at Heavenly and more restaurants and entertainment in the Village.
The Alpine & Aspen Tower rooms consist of 1 king bed or 2 doubles and offer either pool, mountain or lake views (subject to availability). Rooms are equipped with color TV, telephone, voicemail, high speed Internet and data port. On Demand movies, private baths, table and chairs complete these standard & deluxe rooms. Handicap accessible rooms are also available upon request.
Horizon has the largest outdoor swimming pool (open May-Oct) in Lake Tahoe. Warm up in one of three giant hot tubs on a chilly winter evening or after a great day on the slopes. Outdoor hot tubs are open year round.
