"Think over the Breakfast-Concept!
Pick-Up to JFK: Driver drove very nervous, got sick of the driving style."

"Customer service at this hotel was incredibly poor. I nearly had my vehicle impounded due to the inaccurate parking information the front desk staff gave me. The manager did not respond to my request for some form of compensation (discount, apology, anything) and I have plans to pursue the complaint with their corporate office. Any dollars saved were spent on parking fines thanks to the erroneous info. supplied by the hotel staff."

"They had a sign in the room that there was a continental breakfast until 10:30. When we got to the breakfast we did not see a sign advising us that there was a charge for the breakfast. We were under the impression that it was complimentary because every hotel we ever stayed at a continental breakfast was complimentary. After we were done with our danish and bagel we were given a bill for $17.50. I asked the hotel manager if we were really being charged and he said yes that nowhere did it say complimentary. They were not even willing to discuss this. The room was very small."

"Friends tried to send champagne to the room and the staff could not be bothered. Beds are very comfortable for a budget place."

"Our room was on the front of the building 423. our only slight complaint would be the traffic noise. Even though the building has double glazing I think it needs updating and improving as traffic noise is very loud."

"Our complaint is the noise from the outside. Our room was on the 7th floor on the 48th Street side and we could hear horns honking and sirens blaring all through the night. VERY early Monday morning they started some sort of construction that got us up at about 4 in the morning. We would only stay again if we could have a room on the other side of the hotel, away from 48th Street."

"I am very disappointed that I repeatedly asked for a nonsmoking room and did not receive one. I asked on line, with front desk also repeatedly. They all assured me room was nonsmoking. Ashtrays in the room and much lingering smoke smell."

"The "queen" beds are definitely smaller than a normal queen... and seemed even more so than I've encountered in other hotels. When I called the front desk they said they would get back to me about it, but never returned my call. Also, parking was a bit over $1/hour. It's probably the same for other hotels, but the quoted $15 for "overnight" would be for 12 hours, not a full day."

"Only one problem - the rooms were too hot, despite a room air conditioning unit below the openable windows. Had to leave the window open 24 hours - NYC was unusually hot for November. This is the only "complaint" - liked the location near Times Square but not on a busy street."

"Very clean at the first, second and third glance, not that clean at the last glance (under the bed) with rubbish in plastic bags left by other guests"
