"I felt the hotels condition was unpleasant. When the cleaning staff attempted to clean my room; only the beds were made and no fresh towels were given. Often times I had to seek out service to get fresh towels and my garbage removed. The air conditioner would spit water onto my face while I slept and if I decided to turn it off the room would be extremely hot. After I returned to the hotel I found that my door was left open from their cleaning service and when I approached the manager he said they never came to my room after the beds were obviously made. The possibility of my valuables being stolen left an uneasy feeling and I was unsatisfied with the service and their concern for my belongings. The likelihood of me returning to the hotel is zero, and I would not recommend this hotel to my friends or family."

"Me and my friend did not actually stay a single night in this hotel as we were horrified at what we found when we got out of the shuttle bus from the airport. First of all, the location was NOT like it had been advertised and we very soon realised that we were right on edge of a very rough end of Hell's Kitchen - actually seeing an old man getting kicked whilst lying on the floor as we passed in the bus. The enterence to the hotel was dark and dingy and, although under going some work at the time that we were there, was not very inviting. i had expected to see the welcoming canopy, lite up sign etc that were displayed on the website but instead was greeted by rubble and a dark enterence hall. I asked to see the room and was asked "why? you have a resavation for 4 nights". i eventually got to see the room and was even more disappointed with what i saw - there was only a tiny little window that looked out onto a brick wall so no natural light was able to get into the room at all, the bedding looked very old and the carpet was dirty and thinning. the bathroom was equally horrible and again, had no natural light getting itno it at all. in short, me and my friend decidied that, as this was a special trip we had been planning for a number of years, we couldnt stay there. the location was the deciding factor but the overall appearence of the hotel was definitley taken into account. when we told the receptionisy of our decision, she bluntly told me that it was poerfectly safe in that area and asked "what's wrong with the room" - after explaining we did not wish to stay there, she began chatting with another staff memeber, swipped my credit card as i had to pay for 1 nights accommodaqtion regardless, and that was pretty much it!!! a very disappointing hotel and feel that the website does not show the hotel honestly.....at least not when we saw it in the flesh anyway!!!"
