"At 11pm I called the hotel operator for 20 minutes straight, numerous re-dials, including calling on my cell, as well, never getting anyone to answer the call! NEVER, NEVER have I experienced such a condition in my years of extensive travels! If I were having heart attack, seizure, or needed other emergency assistance, I was unable to make contact with anyone, including front desk, assistant manager, and bellmen. When I FINALLY reached someone at the front desk, he was rude, insensitive to the situation at hand, and abruptly said " we are too busy at the desk to answer the phones!" This is the very last time I am staying at such a poorly managed and way over priced property, costing me with taxes over $400 for a one night stay! I will be filing a formal complaint to the City of new York on Monday and will have this incident investigated to the degree necessary to ensure that there will be no repeat of this occurence in the future for the sake of other hotel clients who may well need immediate assistance, emergency or otherwise. This is a deplorable situation deserving of the company's IMEMDIATE resolution of the circumstance to make cretain it never is repeated! Mr. Mike Fox"

"The top sheet on the bed was stained, but the sheets were obviously laundered. This should have been seen by the housekeeper as it was on the part which one would turn down over the duvet. We did not complain as it was midnight. We changed the stained part to the bottom of the bed- what the eye doesn't see etc. The restaurant, for breakfast was poor and grossly overpriced for what we got. Otherwise, everybody was very helpful and courteous and we had a very good night's sleep without any noise whatsoever which is unusual in many hotels."
