"The Hotel is going thru a major renovation plan. As of January, 2006, they are spending $40 million dollars to upgrade the hotel.
Although we had a terrific rate, given the location, the next time we book, the rate maybe considerably higher. Yet, the hotel is great.. service is great, and you are in the heart of NYC."

"The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. Did not make for a restful stay. I informed the front desk before leaving. Otherwise things were fine."
