"Many years ago before I retired I often stayed at the Roosevelt because it was so convenient to what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go. I hark back to the days of Guy Lombardo and his band. I hadn't been back to NY for 20 years and naturally headed back to the Roosevelt. I looked for the tunnel that used to lead from Grand Central to the Hotel but it is gone now, so I had to enter the "hard way" from above!. I enjoyed the week-end rates and even though NY hotel charges are among the highest in the nation, I got what I wanted and enjoyed my stay at the Roosevelt. I am 85 now and God willing, I may make it back again!!!"

"Dining room needs attention to detail, rooms small and shabby, housekeeping fair, gift shop awful. Food QUALITY at the main restuarant good. Staff helpful"

"The room was a bit disappointing - the pictures online are more flattering than the actual room. The room was quite small and a bit older looking. It's not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in but considering it's location in New York City and the price they offered, it was worth it."

"The staff were friendly and helpful - registration, doormen, concierge,housekeeping and waiters. Our family was there the week before Christmas but there was no sense of rush or impatience. It was a very pleasant experience. We would highly recommend this attractive,well located hotel."

"The hotel was absolutely beautiful and very convenient to everything. I have recommended it to a friend for her trip in January and she has already booked it. The only problem we had is that the maid service did not restock the necessities such as toilet tissue and towels."
