"I would like to say that the front desk hotel staff was outstanding. They were very nice and pleasant to deal with. However, I feel my stay at the Crowne Plaza could have been a LOT better. On the night of arrival, our toilet in the room wouldn't flush. We then changed to a smoking room. The sheets were dirty, and I didn't notice this until the morning, after I had all ready slept on the sheets. There were 2 specks of blood on the sheets, and I was grossed out. I then notified the front desk, and they took care of it immediately. They gave us a free upgrade. We really appreciated this. But, again, this room had toilet problems. It wouldn't flush. So, we called someone to fix it. We had the same problem the next night. I felt this was unacceptable for the Crowne Plaza. We were so tired all the room switching, and decided to just have it fixed again.
Overall, the hotel staff was wonderful. The rooms definitely need some work. I was going to write a letter to the corporate office to see if I could maybe be reimbursed for a night's stay or get some sort of compensation for all the troubles we went through with the bathrooms. I would like to know what you folks do to keep your loyal customers satisfied.
Looking forward to hearing from you! I will answer question number 8 after I hear back from you. :)"

"This is an old hotel that has its quirks. However, it is very well maintained and upgraded. It is in a quiet corner of midtown Manhattan, but just a couple of blocks away from Grand Central Station."
