"Every day I asked for a New York Times to be delivered to me in the morning and was promised it would be. In three mornings I never once received the paper (only USA Today)."

Christine from Destin, FL US stayed on December 07, 2003
"I'm sure there must be nicer rooms at the Waldorf, but my friend and I were very disappointed in our small room. There were crumbs on the carpet in several areas, the shower curtain smelled sour, tub had hair, no in-room safe, no bathrobes, terrible tv reception, etc. We've stayed in many 4 or 5 star hotels in New York and this was our least favorite. If you pay $500 per night, you expect more!
The room service food was great!
Thanks for asking.

"Although the cost was more than we usually pay a hotel we thought it was well worth it to spend the extra to get a larger room in this beautiful hotel. The use of the lounge was also convenient. The Waldorf is always beautiful but at Christmastime it is really special."
