"I had an unrenovated room that had one of the worst beds I've ever slept on - and I travel A LOT. Also, in the morning, while standing in the tub, I realized that the fixture was broken and there was NO SHOWER CAPACITY. I understand you're trying to renovate and can tolerate some inconvenience, but that was unacceptable.
the desk clerks were nice and gave me a discount, but I was very disappointed in the hotel. I'd stayed there in February and apparently I had one of the remodeled rooms because I couldn't wait to get back there. A real disappointment."
