The Best Western Mountain Lodge at Banner Elk offers comfort and convenience in a beautiful mountain setting. Nestled in the 'Heart of the High Country', we are within minutes of the area's best attractions and destinations, including Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Sugar Mountain Golf and Ski Resort, Beech Mountain, Lee's McRae College, Appalachian State University and the best golf courses, hiking trails, fishing outfitters and rafting adventures the area has to offer. Enjoy our mountain themed lodge offering pool view as well as mountain view rooms. All rooms have 25' color television with STARZ and ENCORE, DVD player, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, coffeemaker, dataports and voice mail. Enjoy our beautiful courtyard area including a large outdoor heated pool (open year round), picnic areas with gas grills, swing and deck area surrounded by picturesque mountain views. In addition, we are proud to be the area's only 'Pet Friendly" hotel. Completely renovated in 2004. Hotel is now 100% non-smoking. Must be 21 years old to register.
