"The Kelly Inn in Bismarck, although beautiful, comfortable and extremely clean, and not too far from the business district, though I would have preferred it be closer to the Civic Center, needs a serious adjustment in their staff. More specifically, the staff behind the registration desk. The male manager was nice and friendly enough, and young blond woman, who'm I'm guessing is in her twenties is very nice and genuinely friendly, but the older woman working the restaurant/bar -I'm guessing she's in her late thirties or early fourties, she also has blond hair- really had an attitude problem, especially against people who smoke. Unfortunately -like many of you- I have an addiction to cigerattes. I've tried on several occasions to quit, and am still trying, but it's a hard road -as I'm sure many of you already know. I have nothing against anyone who believes that people should not smoke cigarettes, and that they should be outlawed as an addictive drug and serious health problem, I happen to agree with those people, being a cigarette addict myself and struggling to quit. But this woman's attitude was annoying and extremely insulting. Basically her attitude, her body language, tone of voice and her words gave me the impression that she thought she was 'superior' or 'better' than me. No matter what your personal view is on smoking or about people who smoke, there is no exscuse for making another person feel worthless. What happened to 'treat others the way you want to be treated'? And being genuinely kind and friendly to all guests, regardless of their personal opinions on that person. It is only because of this older woman-she was here sunday, in the bar- that I suggest that others may want to look for another hotel to stay at first."
