"First room assignment was smoking instead of the nonsmoking requested and the tub was full and faucet still dripping into it! They moved us without difficulty at our request. However many small things were just inconvenient and unwelcome. The tub was not very clean... needed a good scrubbing and I refused a bath and opted for a shower instead. Bed making skills were not the best. Noticed stains and a lot of wear and tear that was not being maintained very well. Bar sink dripped and we had to keep a towel in to stop the noise for just a few things."

"The hotel tried to assign us a smoking room and tell us that was what we requested until it was pointed out on the email. Rooms had dripping sinks, TV remotes that didn't work (although they attempted to correct without success), bath tub in need of a good scrubbing, bed making skills left something to be desired, and beds were uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was poor and we only took advantage of it once. Seating for breakfast inadequate. Stains and dirt marks noted. Poor maintainence throughout. Dripping AC unit above side entry door leaving sidewalk totally wet. Nothing huge, but lots of little things that left a bad "taste". We would not book an AmeriSuites again after this experience."
